What You Can Do To Assure The Peace of Your Children In 2006

On Sunday Mornings & Wednesday Evenings

1. Make the pursuit of God your highest priority

2. Evidence this priority by making the worship of God and the learning of His Word on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings an “always event.” Skipping is a testimony to your spouse and children that the pursuit of God is NOT a high priority.

3. Arrive on time all the time and every time

4. Arrive alert. Be ready to worship, ready to learn!

5. Do not be slothful. Take your own extensive notes. (Use a laptop if you wish) Children may not do what we tell them but they will always do what we do.

6. Be ready to participate at each opportunity in services to testify, confirm the Word, pray or request prayer, or offer your spiritual gift.

Make what you learn each week, the topic of conversation in your home.

8. Use the evening meal time each and every day to formally enunciate learned convictions. Let each family member participate.

9. In 2006 adopt the Wednesday curriculum as your family curriculum for the year. In it you and your children will learn the 49 Commands of Christ and the respective character quality that coincides with each of them.
